Mike Pope - Senior Pastor
Mike Pope serves as the Senior Pastor of FBC, where he is passionate about teaching God’s Word and helping people grow in their walk with Christ. Pastor Mike is a graduate of Carson-Newman University and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and has served in ministry for over 25 years and at FBC since September 2003. Pastor Mike loves building a church family that serves the community and shares the hope of the gospel. He and his wife, Kim, have a daughter, Hannah. When he’s not preaching or meeting with members, you’ll often find him hiking, golfing, or enjoying time with his family.
Michael Braddock - Student Pastor
Michael Braddock oversees the children, youth, and college ministries at FBC, creating spaces where students can be themselves, grow in their faith, and discover their God-given purpose. Michael graduated from Liberty University and Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary and has been serving the students at FBC since March 2011. Known for his energy, authenticity, and ability to connect with young people, Michael leads weekly gatherings, small groups, and student events with passion. He and his wife, Heather, have a daughter, Hannah, and twin sons, Jacob and Nathan. Outside of ministry, Michael enjoys both playing and watching sports of all kinds and spending time with his family.
Todd Austin - Worship Pastor
Todd Austin leads the worship ministry at FBC with a heart for helping people encounter God through music and Scripture. A graduate from Liberty University, Todd has been leading worship at FBC since September 2011. Whether directing the worship team, planning services, or writing songs, Todd seeks to point every heart toward Jesus. He and his wife, Sherry, have three daughters, Sami, Savannah, and Rachel. In his free time Todd enjoys picking around with music and teaching people how to play a wide variety of instruments.
